How do I order a custom lithophane?
Upload your photo above, adjust the size, thickness and frame while watching the backlit preview, and generate the model. Click “Get an instant print quote” — white PLA, fine layers and solid infill are preselected — then check out. We print it and ship it to you.
What size lithophanes can you make?
From 30 mm up to 200 mm on the longest side, including the frame. 100–150 mm is the sweet spot for a desk or windowsill.
Which photos work best?
Bright, sharp photos with good contrast and a clear subject. Very dark or blurry photos look muddy. Crop close to the subject and upload the largest version you have.
Does it come with a light or stand?
The lithophane is a flat panel. Lean it in a window, put it on a small picture stand, or place an LED light behind it. Lamps and stands are coming soon.
Why does it look plain until it's lit?
That's the magic of a lithophane: the image is stored in the thickness of the plastic. Unlit it looks like a white relief; with light behind it the full photo appears.
Is my photo kept private?
Your photo is converted in memory and never stored. The generated model is deleted after 24 hours unless you order a print.
