Frequently Asked Questions

What file formats do you accept?

We accept STL, 3MF, and OBJ files. STL is the most common format for 3D printing. If your file is in another format (STEP, Fusion 360, Blender), export it as STL before uploading.

How long does it take to get my print?

Most orders ship within 3–5 business days. Print time depends on the size, quality settings, and complexity of your model. Rush orders (1–2 day turnaround) are available for an additional fee.

What materials are available?

We offer PLA, PETG, and TPU (flexible). PLA is the most popular choice for prototypes and decorative items. PETG is better for functional and mechanical parts, and TPU is ideal for flexible items like phone cases and gaskets.

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is based on slicing your exact model: print time, material weight, infill density, layer height, and whether support structures are needed. Your estimate shows every line — setup, machine time, material, supports, labor, packaging, shipping, and payment processing — so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

Can you print multicolor models?

Yes. Our Bambu Lab H2C prints multi-color and multi-material parts. Upload a 3MF with colors painted or assigned per part (for example in Bambu Studio) and choose Multi-color when you configure your quote — your color assignments are kept and priced from real slicer output. STL and OBJ files don't carry color regions, so multi-color jobs for them are reviewed by our team. The colors on offer depend on the filaments currently loaded and are shown in the quote builder.

What's the maximum print size?

We print on a Bambu Lab H2C. Single-material parts can be up to 325 × 320 × 320 mm (about 12.8 × 12.6 × 12.6 in), or up to 325 mm tall for parts no wider than 305 mm. Multi-material prints are limited to 300 × 320 × 320 mm. We keep 2 mm of clearance around the edges for brims and purging, so the largest single-material part we accept is 321 × 316 × 318 mm. Every upload is checked automatically, including whether it fits once rotated. For larger models, split them into parts that assemble together and upload each part, or send us a custom request.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we ship within the United States. International shipping is available on request for larger orders. Contact us for a custom shipping quote.

What if my model needs repair?

We automatically check uploaded models for common issues such as non-manifold edges, holes, duplicate faces, and inverted normals. Minor issues are repaired automatically, and your estimate clearly says when a model was repaired and what was fixed. To fix a file before uploading, try our free STL repair tool at avdeb.com/tools/stl-repair. The estimate is always based on the repaired model. If problems can't be fixed automatically, we explain why and our team reviews the file before printing.

Can I get a custom quote for a complex project?

Absolutely. Use our custom request form for projects that need special materials, post-processing (sanding, painting, assembly), large quantities, or anything beyond standard FDM printing.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum order. You can order a single print. Volume discounts are available for quantities of 10 or more — pricing per unit decreases as quantity increases.
