Veterinarians usually put “DVM” (or “VMD”) on line two, sometimes with a specialty such as “DVM, DACVIM”. Many clinics instead write “Dr. First Last” on line one so clients know who the vet is at a glance.
Credentialed veterinary technicians use different titles depending on the state that licensed them — CVT, LVT, RVT or LVMT. Use the title on your credential. Assistants, kennel staff and client service teams usually list their role instead, e.g. “Veterinary Assistant” or “Client Care”.
A magnet back is quick and leaves no holes, which makes it a good fit for the front desk and for vets moving between exam rooms. For techs and assistants who lift, restrain and get pawed at all day, a pin back holds more firmly and is less likely to be knocked off by an excited dog.
Wipe acrylic badges with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Strong alcohol and solvent cleaners can cloud or craze acrylic over time, so if you need to use a clinic disinfectant, try it on the back of the badge first.
Add one badge per person: type their name and title, click “Add to cart”, then type the next name. In the badge maker your logo and design stay set between names, so every badge matches. Each person becomes a separate line in your cart, so nothing gets mixed up. For long lists, email the names and titles toinfo@avdeb.com and we'll help you put the order together.
